Only the Strong Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit that has been preparing underprivileged and at-risk youth to successfully start the school year since 2009. Access to school supplies at the beginning of the year is a major contributing factor to academic success and higher self-esteem, according to students, parents and teachers. We have successfully expanded our fundraising and outreach every year. In 2019, we surpassed 400 backpacks and for the FIRST YEAR did 100 certified health physicals for the youth in the Montbello & Green Valley Ranch neighborhoods.

Our primary funding source has been individual donations coming from people who believe in our mission and goals. We have been able to make a significant difference for families in our community despite not having the benefit of corporate sponsorship. Your donation goes to the purchasing supplies and backpacks, for our end-of-summer Burgers & Bags giveaway, which includes free health physicals for students.

This is a small request that has a big impact on kids and families in our community. Only the Strong needs your help sustaining this positive benefit and helping more kids.
