Mentoring

Our mentoring goal is to provide personal strategies for minority youth to achieve their goals. We emphasize life skills to complement book knowledge such as:

  • resume building
  • interview skills
  • career options

Students will have the opportunity to interact in a positive environment and be able to express themselves and learn valuable information to carry them through life.

Tutoring

The foundation provides tutoring in the core subjects of math, science, social studies, and English. These tutoring sessions are usually scheduled in the evenings or Saturday mornings. Times and places are to be determined. Students are tutored by teachers familiar with each subject or by individuals whose career mirror each subject.
